Starstruck

DH is so funny; he never wants to hurt my feelings by not liking something I’ve made.  When he looked at this card, he said, “I don’t know, that green color is sort of … isn’t it?”  Can someone translate for me, please???

Whatever he meant, I have to agree with him (I think) that there’s something not quite right about this card.  Too much color, no neutral — is that it?

But I wanted to experiment with something new:  a homemade embossing plate.  Come back tomorrow for the Tuesday Tip to see how I did it.

Paper:  Taken With Teal (retiring), Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery

Other:  Star and Large Star punches, Magnetic Movers & Shapers Punch Window (Star), Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder, Circle Ice Rhinestone Brade (Turquoise), 5/8″ Satin Ribbon (Certainly Celery), Stampin’ Dimensionals, homemade embossing plate
