If you’ve been to stamp camp already this month, you may recognize the star on this card — it’s a leftover from a window we die-cut!  Because it is two layers of card stock, this star is ideal for the larger star brad.  It’s exactly the size of a dime, but thicker and fairly heavy, so it needs a good base.  (Did you know you can get these brads FREE with a qualifying purchase this month?)

I’m not sure where this color combination came from.  Just playing around in the studio, I guess, and this is what happened!  And I can’t remember the last time I tore card stock on a card, but it just seemed the right balance for the graphic embossing.

This is another example of the Smooch Spritz, brand new in the Summer Mini Catalog.  It’s worth repeating that this Spritz is not a fine mist; it is a spatter.  If you’re expecting a shimmer effect, this is not the product for you!

Stamp:  Red, White & Blue* wheel (with Jumbo Handle)
