This month’s camp projects use the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die. Did you notice it at the bottom of page 24? So often it’s hard to appreciate a product from its image in the catalogs. This is so much more impressive when you see it used, and even more so in person!
Tomorrow I’ll show our butterfly project, but meanwhile check out the samples on the mini cover and pages 10, 37, and 42. I’m virtually positive this will be a returning item in the new 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog July 1, but why not get it now and enjoy it for a few months?
Anyway, back to the tip! Sometimes, especially when the die cuts are really tiny, it’s a challenge to get them removed from the Embosslit. To solve this, rub a piece of waxed paper on both surfaces of the Embosslit, creating something of a non-stick surface.
Thanks to my fellow Stampin’ Addict Rhonda Langley for this tip!
