I spent my “catch-up” day yesterday at the chiropractor’s office and running a few errands, but got that over with as soon as possible so I could get home and into the studio. I recently saw a card by the famous Lisa Somerville using this faux dry-embossing technique and had to try it out. My version is much simpler than hers, but not as labor-intensive as the last time I used this technique — I love how striking this is!
Thursdays DH volunteers at our county’s history room, and although I love the man, I am glad to be alone in the house — and especially in the studio! If I can, I pull out my running technique/idea list and just begin creating. On a beautifully sunny (but very cold) day like yesterday, it is a very pleasant way to spend five or six hours. Do not disturb!
