Tuesday Tip: Clear-Mount Blocks

I doubt anyone was more taken by surprise than me that Stampin’ Up! recently began offering its high-quality rubber stamps in repositionable design.  The same rubber-and-foam, die-cut stamps are backed with a “cling” surface that will temporarily attach them to Clear-Mount Blocks.  The storage is significantly less (no more chunky wood blocks), and the fact that you can attach a cling image label to the stamp means easier positioning when you stamp.

When you choose a stamp set in the clear-mount option, you’ll need to also buy (or make sure you already have) Clear-Mount Blocks in appropriate sizes.  The bottom of page 6 in the Occasions Mini lists the size of each block, but demonstrator Belinda King came up with an even easier solution:  a chart that, when printed on a transparency, can be placed over stamp images in the mini to check for block sizes.  You’ll find that chart HERE.  Just be sure that when you print it, you are printing at 100% — no scaling — or the sizes will not be correct!  Thanks to Belinda for this fabulous resource!
