HB Bunny

Here’s the last of my Stampin’ Addicts blog hop projects.  As I mentioned, the first thing I wanted to do with Chocolate Bunny was to re-create the vintage metal chocolate mold.  After several variations on card stock and ink and embossing powder, I decided I liked this the best:  Silver EP on Basic Gray CS.

I wanted to break away from Easter and chocolate, so I created this gender-neutral birthday card.  Color blocking is a fun technique, and I deliberately chose colors a bit outside my comfort zone.  Texturizing or stamping the panels gave even more contrast.

Stamps:  Chocolate Bunny (Occasions Mini), Baroque Motifs, All Holidays

Ink:  VersaMark, Basic Gray, Cameo Coral

Paper:  Ruby Red, Barely Banana, Bordering Blue, Cameo Coral, More Mustard

Other:  Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Silver), SU! Backgrounds I Texturz Plates (Harlequin, Small Dots), Metallic Eyelets (Silver), Taffeta Ribbon (Basic Gray), Stampin’ Dimensionals
