Tuesday Tip: The scrap box

No, this “scrap” doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with scrapbooking.  I’ve actually mentioned this before:  Never create just one of anything.  Experimenting with water coloring?  Stamp two or more images and color them.  Not sure how a color combination will work out?  Try several variations.  Even if your work is satisfactory on the first attempt, if you’ve got the supplies out, it’s just as easy to create more than one.

Chances are, even your practice pieces can be used for another card or as an embellishment for a scrapbook layout.  Little pieces can accent a tag.  I keep my scraps in back-to-school pencil boxes.  It’s actually kind of fun to go back through some of these pieces!

  1. Debra,
That is a wonderful idea to have one place to put my extra pieces when I stamp or have some pieces left over, my creative ideas could be more organized. Thanks!!
