What a delightful card!

This simple (but cute!) card was one of our projects at Stamper Judy’s workshop Tuesday night.  We had a great time in her beautiful home.

Do you know this technique of Rock & Roll?  I love this technique because each time you do it, the result is unique.  Simply ink up a stamp in a lighter color and roll the edges in a darker color.  There’s a lot of wrist movement in the “rolling” part.  (Come to think of it, I’m not sure what the “rocking” is!)  Make sure you clean the stamp before repeating!  A ribbon and hang tag complete the card.

This card will go to our neighbors, who have the most amazing maple in their front yard.  Every year it’s one of the first to be ablaze with gold.  In the morning the sun bounces off of it and makes our bedroom glow.  Well done!
