I’ve had this card by Becky Carafa in my “must copy” folder for a year. I finally did it, and I love the results — not quite an exact CASE, but pretty darn close. I thought it was brilliant to cut out the branches, leaves, and bird. Time consuming, but terrific! Notice how pleasing to the eye it is to “break” the boundaries of the oval with the leaves. Try that!
Her color combination was also appealing, and I was glad to unearth some retired Stampin’ Up! DSP from my stash for the background. That not-so-little Level 1 hostess item is 60 sheets of coordinated 6″ x 6″ paper; this year the colors in the pack are Ruby Red, Mellow Moss (shown here), Sahara Sand, Really Rust, and Night of Navy. Good colors for fall!
