Thanks, all you blog hoppers, for all the nice comments about my projects! This week I’ll be posting tutorials for my projects.
I’ll start with the easiest one — because I can simply refer you to the place where I learned how to do this: Jennifer Thomas’s great tutorial on Split Coast Stampers. I do, however, have a few comments:
- Print the template out first. Measure it, then cut the hole in your front panel. I have the template here that will give you four on a page. That template is 2″ square. I suppose you could print it larger, but remember that your strips are folded to 1/2″ — they may have to be wider if the template is larger.
- If you’re going to place one of your papers against the dotted lines in the corner, as I did, you’ll need an additional patterned paper strip 6″ x 12″. I call that the “dotted” piece. The others are “A” and “B.”
- Use lots of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the panel when you adhere it to the card front. The iris folding is bulky and the rest of the panel needs to be lifted up so it’s not lumpy.
Please let me know if there are other questions I can answer!
