Here’s a sneak preview of one of our camp projects this month. When I wrote a little blurb on stamping with bleach in my February newsletter, I hadn’t yet noticed the little tutorial in the new catalog, on page 104. I’m so intent on the products and projects, I skip right over the technique page that begins each section. Stampin’ Up! started including these in the catalogs around the time they discontinued the little technique books that we used to get with our orders. I must take more time with this catalog!
A note on the supplies: I used the Coluzzle to cut the circle. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued the Starter Set, which contains both the circle and oval templates. Stampin’ Up! will continue selling the the Starter Set until the inventory is depleted. Refill blades are no longer available.
I’ve used the Coluzzle system since way before I was a stamper, so this is a little distressing for me. But I’m sure I’ll feel better when my new Circle Scissor Plus arrives!
